Description
Explore the amazing world of fused glass and the you will learn some of the basic skills needed to make 2 coasters and a small plate, platter or bowl. The workshop will include:
- The health and safety aspects of working with art glass
- An introduction to basic tools used in working with glass
- Basic glass-cutting techniques
- Using different types of glass – sheet, frits and stringers to create designs
- All materials and kiln firings are included
- Once complete your work is fired in a glass kiln one or two times – depending on what you create.
- Finished work can usually be picked up 7 days after attending the workshop – or by arrangement to post out (for a small additional cost)
- Car parking on site
- Tea/coffee /cold drinks provided

Please Note:
- You need to wear covered shoes – when attending the workshop
- Older clothes are recommended
- If you wear reading glasses for close work – please bring them with you
